This community service project aims to give academic training towards young preachers within
Mosque-youth Organization (IRMAS) Al-Qomar in Catur Tunggal Yogyakarta in order to enhance
as well as to optimize their preaching quality. In this service, the preachers will be given some materials
which include methods and strategies in order to conduct preaching activities through media and
technology. Additionally, this training will provide various preaching models, such as preaching
optimization via social media, preaching drills via printed media such as booklet and leaflet, and
preaching drills via audio-visual platforms. Hopefully, after following this training, those young
preachers of IRMAS Al-Qomar can use and optimize technology in their preaching activities,
particularly in this pandemic era which urges indirectly societies to use technology in their daily
activities as well. Based on the need and the goal of this training, this community service will be
conducted in hybrid; virtually by conducting online training and guiding based on the schedule, and
conventionally by visiting this community’s office and the preachers. The training will be scheduled
three times including first visit of socialization.
